Headquartered in Johnson City, Tennessee, Mullican Flooring is the second largest manufacturer of unfinished hardwood flooring in the U.S. The company was founded with a single goal in mind: to deliver the highest quality hardwood flooring. To do that, the founders knew they would need the finest raw materials, state-of-the-art equipment, highly qualified personnel and modern production facilities - and it appears they have been successful.

Mullican acquires their raw materials from the prime forest region of the Appalachian Mountains. The trees are then processed at one of five facilities, located in Norton, Virginia; Ronceverte, West Virginia; Holland, New York; Murfeesboro, North Carolina and Johnson City, Tennessee.

Waste is eliminated from the production process by utilizing every part of each tree. The bark is used for mulch, for example, and wood chips are used as fuel for the drying kilns. Mullican is also an evironmentally conscious company and ensures the future of their raw materials by supporting forest management programs.
