About the Manufacturer - Marazzi

The origins of Marazzi date back to 1935 in Sassuolo, Italy. Since its establishment, Marazzi has become one of the world's top tile manufacturers and the leader in Europe. Its European operations include manufacturing facilities in not only in Italy, but Spain and France, and they will have a plant in Russia in the near future. Their United States headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Sunnyvale, Texas, near Dallas.

Marazzi is also a leader in technological advancements. In 1974 they patented their single-fire production process, which is now the the most widely used in the world. In 1985, Marazzi once again patented a new process technology known as "Firestream."

Quality and environmental consciousness are high priorities at Marazzi. In 1994, they were among the first tile manufacturers to receive ISO 9001 certification, demonstrating their committment to quality. With respect to environmental responsibility, Marazzi was the first tile manufacturer to receive EMAS certificaiton for its Fiorano factory. Certain product lines have also received the European Union's Ecolabel for meeting environmental requirements and efficient use of energy resources.
