About the Manufacturer - Eliane

Eliane was founded in 1960 by contractor Maxilliano Gaidzinski. Officially known as Eliane Revestimentos Ceramicos, the company first set up operations in a basic pottery in Cocal do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It now operates 11 manufacturing facilities throughout Brazil providing ceramic tile and associated products nationally as well as to 85 other countries.

With its products sold by more than 15 thousand outlets worldwide, Eliane is Brazil's largest exporter of ceramics. Its sales in 2004 were over $67 million.

The company's headquarters and four of its plants are in its hometown of Cocal du Sol. It employs approximately 2,400 hundred professionals, including 200 internationally located sales agents.

Eliane not only provides jobs for local residents, it shares its good fortune with the community. In 1978, for example, the company inaugurated the Maxilliano Gaidzinski school.
