Wilsonart International began as a small countertop laminate company in Whittier, CA in 1946. Started by Ralph Wilson, Sr. and Art Hoppe, the company was appropriately incorporated as Wilson & Hoppe. Today, the little Quonset hut-housed business that once produced “Laminart” has evolved into an international manufacturer of solid and laminated products with more than 200 distributors worldwide.
