I know natrual wood flooring has color variations, but I was surprised by the HUGE color differences between some of the planks. A few planks really stand out. There is no way to blend in those few.

Very pleased with the look/feel/grain/etc of the wood. My only minor concern is the top wear layer is quite thin (even given that it's a 5-ply), so I'm mildly worried about if/when we may ever want to re-finish - The contractor that did the install said a scratch-coat probably wouldn't be an issue (light sand and re-varnish). Thus far, it has stood up quite well to my two 80 lb dogs, with a few very minor scratches (nothing that even gets into the surface).
