About the Product

Barlinek continues to come out with very unique products. Their new Thermo series uses heat to color the wood instead of stain. This is a huge advantage since the color exists throughout the entire thickness of the wood as opposed to stains which merely penetrates the surface. This look is very beautiful and natural in appearance. Here are a few advantages to using the thermo process instead of staining:

Water absorption is reduced
The wood becomes lighter (in weight not color)
The color runs throughout the entire thickness
The hardness increases
The decay and weather resistance improves
Mold risk is reduced
This process is environmentally friendly since only heat is used

All in all the new Barlinek Barclick Thermo series is a really beautiful floor with a very interesting background. In this age where we are doing our best to protect the environment and be as “chemical free” as possible, this flooring is a smart choice. The locking system as with all of the Barlinek products is extremely tight and durable. Last, the price is far less than you’d expect to pay for this type of quality.
