About the Product

Barlinek SA's long-standing tradition dates back to 1946, when the National Forest Wooden Works (Zakłady Drzewne Lasów Państwowych) was established. In 1975, the company changed its name to Barlinek Wood Industry Enterprise. However, only the privatization of the company in 1999 brought about a real breakthrough. Consistently following the company's extension and modernization plan, as well as, increasing the product range, led to Barlinek SA having become a leader of wooden flooring industry in Poland within a few years. This proves that Barlinek products aroused keen interest among customers. Barlinek SA is also known for its care for the environment, evidence of this can be found in Barlinek SA‘s well-publicized ecological campaign "One-for-One Rule.” This means that for each box of Barkiet bought a tree is planted. In the growing "Barlinek Customers' Forest" there are already 510,000 trees and this number is constantly increasing. Providing funds for the seedlings is not everything of course. Pro-ecological activities are carried out early in the production process with the use of modern facilities and technologies.

Barkiet - Barlinek floorboard, i.e. a three-layer floorboard made from precious Polish and exotic wood, is by far the company most popular product. Barlinek SA is quickly becoming a market leader in wood production. The company's production also includes classical and mosaic parquetry, solid lumber floors, softwood and hardwood planks, semi-manufactured softwood products, and frieze products.
