Novalis got its start in 1980, acting on their commitment to offer the highest quality luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring manufactured anywhere. Novalis also voices the company’s goals to be recognized internationally for their product and service excellence both to peers and customers.
Novalis manufactures their DVT flooring products in China, and maintains offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, and North Carolina. With such a focused vision, one should expect the product to be top-quality, and they won't be disappointed. Novalis has their flooring in two main distribution categories: products that are sold in Specialty Retail Flooring Shops, and those sold at do-it-yourself Home Centers.
Consumers looking to buy Novalis flooring through a retail store can expect to find the NovaFloor, NovaLock, and the soon to be released NovaClick lines. NovaFloor is a small selection of attractive tiles that simulate natural stone, as well as wood-like planks for residential, light commercial, and commercial flooring applications. The NovaLock set includes a wide color variety of simulated wood planks, from the darkest wengé browns to very bright maple shades, plus two porcelain tile offerings, in grey or white. As mentioned, the NovaClick group has yet to be revealed to the public.
If you are looking for luxury vinyl flooring and stop by a large DIY Home Center that carries the Novalis line, you will find both residential and commercial categories. In the residential set, there are the Peel-N-Stick products, Special Order products, and Multi-Purpose flooring.
Peel-N-Stick vinyl from Novalis includes an attractive set of bold-colored tiles, made to look like authentic slate, as well as a convincing line of imitation wood planks in a variety of colors. The Special Order offerings include very bright marblesque tiles and imitation wood planks. Multi-purpose tiles from Novalis are just that — textured vinyl tiles that can be used for sports, workout rooms, or anywhere extra grip is desired. The last group of commercial-grade vinyl tile includes some of the boldest LVT colors in Novalis’ lineup.
Novalis was an innovator in 1980, opening up shop in China, and they continue to release new products after 30 years.
